天文シミュレーションプロジェクト計算機共同利用者の皆様
新しいスーパーコンピュータ(XD2000)の2024(令和6)年12月2日の運用開始に先立ち、
共同利用者の皆様にお願いがございます。
CfCAではセキュリティの向上を目的として、VPN接続の際に、これまでのVPNパスワードによる
認証に加えてメールアドレスでの認証を行う予定です。
具体的には、VPN接続時に電子メールでワンタイムパスワードが送られます。
つきましては、天文シミュレーションプロジェクトのWebページ ( https://www.cfca.nao.ac.jp )
のアカウント情報としてVPN認証用メールアドレス欄を新設いたしましたので、
そちらに常時メール閲覧可能なメールアドレス* を設定いただきますようよろしくお願いいたします。
* 既にEmail欄に登録いただいているメールアドレスと同じ場合は設定不要です。
VPN認証用メールアドレス欄が空欄の場合は、Email欄に登録いただいている
メールアドレスを認証用メールアドレスとして使用いたします。

11月以降も随時変更は可能ですが、反映までに少しお時間をいただく可能性がございます。
[VPN認証用メールアドレスの設定方法]
１．以下のWebページから天文シミュレーションプロジェクトのWebページにログインします。

2．ログイン後に編集タブをクリックして、アカウント編集画面を開きます。
VPN認証用メールアドレス欄に入力し、保存ボタンを押します。

Dear CfCA open-use computing facility users,
In advance of the start of operation of the new supercomputer (XD2000) on December 2, 2024,
we have a request for all users.
CfCA plans to use one time password authentication by email for VPN connections
in addition to the current VPN password authentication.
We have therefore added a new email address field for VPN authentication as web account information
on the CfCA Web (https://www.cfca.nao.ac.jp), so please set your email address* that can be accessed
at any time.
* If your email address for VPN authentication is the same as the one already set in the Email field,
you don't have to set it.
If the VPN authentication email address field is left blank, the email address registered
in the Email field will be used as the VPN authentication email address.
Deadline: Thursday, October 31, 2024, 9:00 JST
You can change your email address at any time after November,
but it may take some time for the changes to take effect.
[How to set up an email address for VPN authentication]
1. Log in to CfCA Web from the following web page.

2. After logging in, click the Edit tab to open the account editing screen.
Enter your email address in the VPN authentication email address field and press the Save button.
