I am working at an institute outside Japan, but want to use your computers.

I heard that I need to go through some legal procedures for that.
What is that, and how should I do it?

First, we presume that you are qualified to use our computer system.
If not, please find another computer resources other than ours.

Please give us the following information and material through the web form in the above webpage of ours before we give you a web account of our site:

  • 氏名 ← Your name
  • メールアドレス ← Your e-mail address
  • 居住国 ← The country name where you live now
  • 居住開始日 ← The month/day/year of the first day of your stay in the country
  • 所属機関 ← Your current institute
  • 所属機関の部局名 ← your department at your institute
  • 所属機関の代表者氏名 ← The name of the President/CEO/... or whoever is responsible for your institute
  • 所属機関事業内容 ← Something that best describes the business contents of your institute, such as "education", "medical service", "weapons production", "counterintelligence", and so on.
  • 該非判定に必要な情報提供目的 ← click "計算機共同利用" (use of computers)

Then, you will find a sub menu below that:

  • 研究課題名 ← Enter the subject of your research
  • ファイル ← Upload a PDF file containing your research plan in detail. The file size must be smaller than 2MB, and the format must be PDF.
  • 通信欄 (misc) ← Enter some more information about you (if any).
    Also, please provide us with the URL of the official webpage of your institute
    as well as its president (dean, chair, ... or whoever is responsible for the operation of the university).
  • 確認 (confirmation) ← Click it when you are done
  • プレビュー (preview) ← Click it, and a preview screen will show up

Then, finally

  • 送信 (submit) ← Click to get it done
